Cotton Bowl Renovation

The renovation of the Cotton Bowl will include the repair of the historic lower bowl, new seating and a substantial addition for the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department and the State Fair of Texas.

The addition will significantly improve visitor services such as concessions, egress and restrooms, and will expand the seating capacity of the Cotton Bowl to approximately 90,000 seats.  The expansion of this historic structure within the historic district that is Fair Park requires a preservation-sensitive design that meets local and state criteria.

QMc is serving as Preservation Architect to Heery International Inc.

The project is phased and is scheduled to be complete by the time of the State Fair in 2008.
